IMEX 2009 took place from 26 to 28 May 2009 in Frankfurt. abcn Vienna and Berlin were represented with 48 partner companies.

The Austria stand had 220.5 square meters and the concept of an open lounge. The organization team received a very good feedback from the Austrian exhibitors as well as from the stand neighbors Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. The hosted buyer groups were appreciated in a charming Austrian tradition form by the Austrian actress Gigga Neunteufel.

The IMEX 2009 recorded 9,000 visitors from 157 countries. This year the qualified buyers came from Australia, Argentina, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Syria, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
