Travelling to austria

By Air
Austria is connected to the world flight network with the Austrian Airlines Group (consisting of the 3 partner airlines Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air and Austrian Arrows), Styrian Spirit an most international airlines.
The airports Vianna International Airport Wien-Schwechat, Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz und Salzburg have international connections.

Airport transfer - Vienna
The City Airport Train (CAT) takes you directly from Vienna International Airport/Wien-Schwechat into town to Wien Mitte (U3/U4-Station Wien Landstrasse) in just 16 minutes.
Single Fare: EUR 8,-, round-trip: EUR 16,-,
passengers can check-in and even be issued their ticket at Wien Mitte.

There is also a regular bus (EUR 6,-) and
Schnellbahn service (EUR 3,-) into the city centre.

By Rail
The Austrian federal Railway network covers a total of approx. 11,000 km and is directly connected with the entire European railway network. Synchronised timetables with one- and two-hour intervals enable quick and efficient transfers between trains on all major Austrian Routes.

By Ship
Various providers operate several routes on the Danube (from mid April to end of October), including speedboat travel and cruises within Austria, and to other Danube countries. Cruises and excursion services are also available on a number of Austria's lakes (from May through the end of September).
